Obituary of Teresa A. Alimentato

Teresa (Terry) Alimentato

Passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by parents Gregory and Maritetta Alimentato, Brother Samuel Alimentato and Sister Angelina Wright. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Karen Gustke and husband Richard, Donna Richmond and husband Timothy, Dolores Alimentato, David Alimentato and wife Debbie, Diane Crandall and husband Robert and Deborah Alimentato and many great nieces and nephews.

Raised in Rochester, Terry attended Nazareth Academy. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. Terry was the primary caregiver to her parents and sister Angie. Terry was in the insurance business for over 30 years. Terry worked for Steinmiller & Associates, Fred Stehler Insurance Agency and the Harry Crowley Insurance Agency where she was part of the New York Insurance Woman's Club and was President of the Rochester Women's Insurance Association. Terry and her sister Angie both ran the Clover Lanes Coffee House. Terry retired from the Irondequoit Town Court where she was an Assistant Court Clerk. Terry enjoyed bowling and travelling as well as many yearly trips to Lake George. 

Terry and her sister Angie purchased a Florida condo in 1999, she finally retired to West Palm Beach Florida in 2007, she lived at Pine Ridge IV Condominium Association where she was the Treasurer for many years. She befriended many from all over the country with her bubbly personality and caring nature.  Florida was where Terry learned to be a fierce shuffleboard competitor.   

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Falvo Funeral Home 1395 Goodman St, Rochester NY 14609. On Friday, please join the family at 10:00 am at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609 for a celebration of life.
