I'm so sorry to hear of Fred's sudden passing. I played fast pitch softball with him in the early 70's. My brother's Bob and Jim also knew him well. My sister, Karen, alsi knows the family. He was a sparkplug on our Frederico's team in the Rochester Major Softball League. As his obituary says, he lit up a room with his smile. My family sends our deep felt condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of Freds passing . I worked with him at Kodaks Research Labs in Rochester for many years . In fact he worked two doors down from me for most of those years. I especially recall a Slo-pitch softball tournament we played in against Kodak Office. We had two runners on when Fred came up for the first time . The other manager pulled his outfielders in. Fred and I were the same height which was not tall . When I saw this I thought " You're going to pay for this." On the first pitch Fred blasted a ball over the pulled in fielders which would have cleared them easily if they had been playing their regular positions. That homer ended up winning the game for us. A great athlete and friend I will miss Fred. He was also a member of the group of Research buddies that for 30 years went once a month to Mr Dominicks in Charlotte for lunch and talk.

Pat and Family.....I worked with Fred for many years in the Research Labs at Kodak. We had neighboring labs on the "dark floor" and we shared many of the same work friends. I crossed paths with him several times in our after Kodak years and it was always nice to catch up. He always had lots to say about his family. He truly cherished each and everyone of you. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. He was a really great guy.

To all his children,
I grew up with Fred in Marion. I knew him as a bubbly, friendly, happy individual who loved all and found some thing good in everybody. He loved life and people. He will certainly be missed by all.
