Dear Jackie and the Englert Family - I am deeply sorry for your loss and hope you find peace in the many wonderful memories of Dan. Dan was a great man and very kind person and always took time to catch up. I met Dan in the late 80's while working on a job in Boston and then again after we both returned to Rochester. Always laughing, smiling, and willing to help out in any way he could. I asked him for some roofing advice a couple years ago in Old Forge and even though he had family visiting, he showed up the weekend we did the work with tools and equipment and helped us along while also finding time to get back and go boating with his family. Thank you for sharing Dan with us all and I can only imagine what a great family man he was with you all. God Bless, Pat Rogers

Daniel my friend , I chose this picture of us because it’s the furthest back that I can remember. It was at your birthday party in 1969, and we were sharing your new “Crazy Straw” We were 4 years old. You’ve been a part of my life for over 50 years, and now I’m struggling to say goodbye. You are many things to so many people, Father, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and best friend. You will be missed more than you can imagine. My condolences to the entire Englert Family. I love you all! Dave Lennox
