Obituary of Joshua D. Borges

Joshua D. Borges, age 35, passed away on December 16, 2022, in Rochester, New York.

Joshua loved his family and friends; he was always loyal to those he trusted. His beautiful smile was always beaming and would lighten anyone’s heart when in his company. Joshua was preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Janet, and his brother Lennon.

Joshua was born in Rochester, New York and moved to Florida as a toddler. He grew up in Tampa and Fort Lauderdale. He learned the woodwork trade and how to build boats. He enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and barbecuing. He especially loved spending time with family watching sports.   

Saints of God, Come to Joshua’s aid. Come to meet Joshua, Angels of the Lord. Receive Joshua’s soul and present him to God the Most High.

May Christ, Who called you, take you to Himself; may angels lead you to Abraham’s side. Receive Joshua’s soul and present him to God the Most High.

Give Joshua eternal rest, O Lord, and may Your light shine upon him forever. Receive Joshua’s soul and present him to God the Most High.
