Obituary of Frances A. Passero

Frances (LaDolce) Passero, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, left this earth and entered paradise on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 79 years old. After a short battle with lung cancer, she spent her last days in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.

“Francesca” was vibrant, loving, kind, and generous. She was always ready and willing to help others in need. She enjoyed dancing, laughing, entertaining and sunsets. Hers was a life characterized by serving others, especially her family. She first demonstrated this selflessness when she worked to support her husband, Gary, while he attended college. She served the community through organizations like Browncroft Community Church, Lakeshore Kiwanis, Italian Women’s Civic Club, Stony Point HOA, and many other charitable events. She was a hardworking woman, and in the 6 decades of working professionally, she was an executive secretary, a business owner, a real-estate agent, a mortgage broker, and a court stenographer. She had a heart for hospitality and loved bringing people together and entertaining in her home. Sunday sauce was an open invitation to friends, old and new, near and far. There was always room for one more.

She is predeceased by her parents, Anthony LaDolce, and Luella Philips. She is survived by her husband, the love of her life of 59 years, Gary W. Passero; her 3 sons, Mark D. Passero (Karen), Christopher J. Passero (Laura), and Gary A. Passero (Lisa); her sister, Janet LaDolce; god-daughter, Kimberly Geldner (Larry), her 16 grandchildren, Michael Zicari, Alaysia Jordan, Arayah Passero, Mark Passero, Andrew Passero, Johanna Passero, Danae Passero, Caleb Passero, Stephen Passero, Nicholas Passero, Michaela Passero, Joshua Passero, Katie Passero, Leah Passero, Moriah Passero, Elaina Passero; nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to list.

As a woman of faith, Fran wished to have a celebration of the eternal life promised to all in Jesus Christ. A memorial service will be held at Browncroft Community Church on Saturday, December 17 at 10am. All are welcome to come celebrate her life and remember the faith she held so dear. If you are unable to attend, you can watch the service online at https://browncroft.online.church. Lunch will be served after the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Rochester Youth for Christ, Italian Women’s Civic Club (IWCC Dante Scholarship Fund, c/o Rae Mungillo, 883 Meadow Ridge Ln. Webster. NY  14580), Lakeshore Kiwanis, Flower City Work Camp or Open Door Mission.
