Trish, my heart goes out to you and the children. Bob was such a kind and good person who will be missed by so many. Our friendship goes back 55 years and I cherish the friendship and memories. We will remember Bob and all the family in our prayers. Much love to you from Don and Me.

Certain people touch our lives in a special way, and Bob was one of those kind of friends. His friendship will be one that makes a lasting impression on our hearts. Bob was genuine, kind and thoughtful. We shared many good talks about life and days gone by. We will always remember him for the Italian squash that grew so beautifully in his amazing garden every year, and the times we sat with him and Letitia and visited together in completely unplanned, thoroughly enjoyable ways. In his service to our country, he represents the best of America. We're so grateful for his bravery in doing so to protect our freedoms. Rest in peace dear friend. No one could ask for a better and more loving BIG BROTHER than Bob Crum. The memories and good times are too many to share on this format, but I will share a few.When he returned from the Korean war he bought me a used bicycle and then showed me how to make that bike the fastest bike in the neighborhood for all of my years in Jones Park. He taught me how to play sports and how to take care of myself. He took me to Canada for a fishing and camping trip that was magical beyond any young boy's dream. He and Tish came to most of the music gigs that we had in the area and sometimes even bringing the kids. It was such a thrill to have family in the audience rooting and supporting me and the band along with my sister and parents.He lent me money to help find my missing boys and I did find them thanks to his help.We made balsa wood planes and flew them from the top of the Jefferson high school foot ball stadium. I had greatest childhood and he was a huge part of it. We were seperated by miles and distance most of our lives, but not in our hearts. I thank you for your service to our country, for the wonderful family that you and Letitia brought into our lives. Most of all I thank you for being the best BIG BROTHER that any one could ask for. Although I'll miss seeing you on this earth, but how can I miss you when you will remain in my heart for eternity. With all my heart ,your little brother Eugene,ugie, Crum

My heart and love to Mrs. Crum and the entire Crum Family. I am truly honored to have called you friend for the past 19yrs. Sharing our gardening and baking stories, talking about our families and traveling and how much you enjoyed the special moments with your daughter on Honor Flight. And we can't forget our silly sticker thing we had going on for many years! Mr. Crum I sure am going to miss you so much. Our talks, hugs, tears and laughter I will always hold dear to my heart forever. Thank you for your sacrifice for our county and wonderful memories. May you rest in peace.
