Jane had bought me a deGROM Mets baseball cap last Christmas. Click on photo to enlarge it. I wore it in her honor when I found out she passed, my eyes both-red from tears of sorrow that streamed down my face the entire weekend. I had bought Jane A Dooney and Burke Bag, Portable Electric Heater, A Mets Ladies Watch and a Strand of black onyx pearls, she loved all the Christmas gifts. She said "Jim", I never owned a designer bag like that", she was so humble. I told her Jane well now you do, and you deserve it. I enjoyed sending her little surprises from time to time to make her happy and cheer her up.

Her daughter Julie took such loving care of her throughout her life. Jane always had the sweetest smile for me when I saw her. Sending our love to Julie and her family ❤️

Yes Jennifer, Julie was her pride and joy. I'm still in disbelief and tearing up all day as I didn't see her on FB for a while. She was in my NY METS GROUP on FB for 6 years. Though she loved her Buffalo Bills! We emailed each other and touched basis on FB daily. She was my best FB Friend. So kind, genuine, caring, down to earth and classy. It was my joy and privilege to have ever met her. My deepest sympathies to Julie, her sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her husband Edward.
