Nathan Weidel

Obituary of Nathan Jacob Weidel

Nathan, an incredible loving young man has passed from this earth to the heavens. Nathan was a senior at Penfield High School, who was a captain of the Varsity wrestling team. Nathan enjoyed working with his hands and tinkering with various projects. He appreciated nature and loved being in the great outdoors. He had a passion for cars with dreams of pursuing a career as a diesel mechanic. His love for helping people was inspired by his time as a cub scout that continued on.

Nathan is well known in his community for both his skills as a wrestler and his kind heart, often referred to as the gentle giant and Greek god. The world is a better place because he was in it. He is the light not only to our family but to everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

Even if you knew him well or barely at all, Nathan left a deep impression on you. He will continue to stay with us through memories and the laughs he left behind. His very name meaning gift from God as he truly is.

He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Nathan is survived by his adoring parents, Sarah and Eric, his loving brother, Gavin and loving sisters, Karla (Peter) DiPaul & Vanessa Ortiz. Grandparents, Geraldine and Oskar, his nephews Isaiah Shoaf, Lyam Mckinley, Valen Guerin, niece, Gianna DiPaul & cousins, Isabella Schmidt, Nicole Weidel, Ashley Weidel and devoted aunts, Leslie Avila, Zenia Ross (Avila) & Jennifer Avila, Christa Russell (Weidel) including Nathan’s beloved dog Boomer.
