Obituary of Theresa "Tess" Wigmore

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 92. She struggled for the past three years with Alzheimer’s disease but continued to have a passion for life, concern for others and infectious smile. She was a devout Roman Catholic. Tess was a natural caregiver. In addition to raising eight children, she earned a Nursing degree and worked for over 40 years. Tess is predeceased by her parents, George and Angelina Alessi; her sons, Wayne Jr, Mark and Dale; her siblings, Carol Leone, Donna Villone and George Alessi Jr. Tess will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gary (Lori), Wendy (Dallas Jackson), Scott (Sylvia), Keith, and Lisa McFadden (John); her grandchildren, Andrew, Jessica, Chad, Andrea, Alicia, Heather, Alan, Kathryn, Anthony, Tracy, Wendie, Valerie, Dana and Michael; her 18 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her sister and best friend, Shirley Amico.

Please meet the family on Thursday, October 13 at 10am at St. James Church (130 Brett Rd) for her funeral service. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
