We first met Guido when we needed a patio built at our house. My friend Kailin told me her father in law was a mason. Being Italian myself and hearing stories of my grandfather who also was a mason we knew Guido was the right guy for the job. We immediately felt like he was family. Our young boys would rush outside the minute he arrived to start working for the day to observe and bombard him with 101 questions. I didn’t dare offer him an American coffee, I knew better. Based on Kailin’s Instagram post he must have liked us too, he would show up unannounced and he even picked his own color for the finishing concrete seal (it matched the siding so luckily it was a good selection). I’m honored to have known Guido, may he Rest In Peace and be reunited with loved ones in heaven. My thoughts and prayers to the Cristofori family. May your sadness be wiped away with great memories and many stories.
Much love, The Torregrossa family

Guido was kind, gentle, strong, sweet, fun and easy to be around. A true gentleman and friend to The Villa family. These photos are from our 1995 trip to Italy with Guido. His family there welcomed us with open arms…the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. We love you Guido. We will miss you always. Our hearts go out to the entire Cristofori family. Love, The Villa family

Guido! What a special man. This is my short but amazing relationship with Guido.
In March, I told my friend Sue P. that I needed a general contractor to help me navigate my townhouse remodel in Fairport. She instantly told me that I need not look any further. A quick call to Kristina who described her dad’s talent, and Guido was standing in my 1990 kitchen, listening to all my ideas and dreams. It only took me that first conversation to know that I not only found my GC, but I had made a friend who would look out for my best interests – no matter what.
Guido brought me the A-team of contractors and handled all the details. By June, he was tearing out the old kitchen and flooring. He worked so hard, making sure everything went like clockwork. We talked almost every day to work the details. He always told me, “Don’t worry! I’ll handle it!” And he did! My remodel completed just before Labor Day. The results are amazing – everything I imagined and more.
I think I was Guido’s last remodel job, except of course for Main Street Bar and Bistro. I would stop by from time to time to chat and see the progress. He was so happy and proud of the improvements.
Guido brought me a bottle of his homemade Limoncello in early September. We agreed to have a celebratory drink after I returned from vacation at the end of September. We never got the chance.
I will drink to you my special friend! I feel so blessed to have known you, even for such a brief period. Go with God.

Devastating. Guido was one of those rare individuals that always felt like he was a part of my family. I can't think of even one instance when he exuded anything but love, friendship and comaraderie. RIP my friend.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Guido was one of my favorite people, only he could bring a smile to my face on a day where it was dark and gloomy. The greatest friend, father and husband. He did try to work this old car salesman to death once, I loved him for that. He called later that night to see if I wanted to go out to eat, he got my wife, who laughed, and said he is passed out. I never met a harder working guy.
You will be surely missed my friend. God Bless all. Marco
