Elvis was a great community servant, who spent 20 years with the Rochester Fire Department, also spending time training Firefighters in the Dominican Republic, and bringing equipment to Puerto Rico. He has multiple awards for rescue’s local and abroad. Elvis was there for everyone he came across, always willing to give a helpful hand. He had a comedic bedside manner always there with a laugh or a joke, bringing smiles to everyone he touched. He was a gentle giant, with a personality bigger than he was, if that’s possible. He had an authentic heart and soul, giving his creative mind to helpful causes often coming up with hilarious but genuine great ideas, that he enjoyed doing just as much as the people he was doing it for.
