Thomas J. Puleo, Jr.

Thomas (Tom) Puleo, Jr., respected investment advisor, passed away September 3, 2022 at the young age of 72. Tom embodied the concept of a well-balanced and well-lived life. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Tom was the loving son of the late Thomas and Victoria Puleo and brother of the deceased Leonard Puleo.

He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas HS and St. John Fisher College. He founded Cambridge Financial Services in 1992. Tom was sociable, humble, quick-witted, and kind.  He had a passion for golf, playing regularly with his friends at Oak Hill CC, especially with his partner and friend, Kevin Gavagan. He was proud of his hole-in-one and double eagle.

Tom remained close with his numerous friends from his childhood, high school and college days. He also made friends wherever he went and cherished them all.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of almost 42 years, Suzanne and his two loving sons, Thomas III and Adam; his amazing brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Anthony and Marigrace Piazza; his nieces and their husbands, Drs. Elise Piazza and Cătălin Iordan, Drs. Nina Piazza and Nick David. He was blessed with having close cousins, and, of course, his many friends who will miss him sorely. A special thank you to Tom’s dedicated office manager, Kim Donner, and supportive family friend Mona Alongi.

The family would like to thank the staff at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Monroe Community Hospital, and 6-1400/4-1200 at URMC who all treated Tom with great skill and compassion. You are truly heroes, and we appreciate your efforts.

Calling hours on Monday, September 19, from 3pm – 7pm at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fpt. Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, N.Y. On Tuesday, please join the family at 11am at St. Joseph’s Church 43 Gebhardt Rd. Penfield, N.Y. for the celebration of his Funeral Mass. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Aquinas Institute of Rochester.
