Passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her family by her side on June 22, 2022, at age 47.

Predeceased by her daughter, Yamilis Eileen and her father, Diego Melendez. Survived by her loving husband, Luis; Children, Joel (Jasmine) & Jaileen Betances; Brother, Diego Melendez Jr.; Sister, Bettina; her mother Lydia Melendez and stepfather, Angel Rodriguez. She is also survived by too many friends to count!

Carmen was the life of every party. She was truly loved by so many. When you talk about that special person, the “one of a kind”, it was her.

Family and friends are welcome to call at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman Street on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 4-7 pm, where her Funeral Service will also be held on Saturday at 11 am. Interment private.
