David W. Battaglia

Penfield, NY March 31, 2022 surrounded by his family while bathed in bright sunlight passed peacefully into The Light to heaven.  We mourn his loss and will remember him as a fiercely protective and adoring Husband, Father, and Papa who will always be missed.  He was loved, he was cared for, he mattered.

Survived by his loving wife Nancy (Divita); Daughters, Julie (Kevin) Hook, Jeanie (Mike) Pipitone; Son, David (Sheri) Battaglia; Grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Hook, Kyle (Shannon) Hook, Marissa Battaglia, Max Battaglia, Benjamin Pipitone; Great-grandchildren, Ahria Hook, Garen Hook; Brothers, Larry Battaglia, Andy (Pat) Battaglia, Gary (Kris) Battaglia; nieces, nephews and friends.

Dave was a champion Marksman who won many championships and trophies and loved fishing and hunting, but Dave’s garden was his sanctuary and brought him great joy and he loved sharing the beauty with everyone.  If you’d like to honor Dave in some small way, plant a flower, tree, or bush in his memory.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2022 from 4PM – 7PM at Falvo Funeral Home and the Funeral Service Thursday April 7, 2022, 10AM also at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, NY 14580.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
