Obituary of Jose Rodriguez

Rev. Jose I Rodriguez, 90, passed away on Tuesday January 11, 2022, he left us after being ill for a few months now.

Jose was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico on October 21, 1931 to Angel Rodriguez  and Damasa Rodriguez Class. He was a retired Pentecostal Minister and was passionate for the work of the Lord and loved everyone.

He is predeceased by his parents, 6 siblings and oldest son Jose R Rodriguez, granddaughter Rebecca L. Lopez and great grandson Judah G. Rivera. He is survived by 4 Siblings, his Brother Ruben Rodriguez, his sisters Margarita Martinez and Ada Quiniones and his younger Brother David (Tati) Rodriguez. His wife of 63 yrs. Josefina Rodriguez his daughter Sally (Melvin) Soler, son Carlos (Sarai) Rodriguez, and his grandchildren, Mariely (Steven) Santana, Nanette (Gabriel) Rivera, Melvin (Jessamine) Soler, Jessica Rodriguez, Jacqueline (Pedro) Rodriguez, Jose M. (Farhiya)Rodriguez, Priscilla Rodriguez, Noemi (Zach) Rodriguez, Carlos (Angie) Rodriguez ll, John (Alexandra) Rodriguez, Joshua (Jesselle) Rodriguez, William Pagan, and great grandchildren and Great Great grandchildren.

Calling hours and Service will be held Saturday 1/15/2022 from 10 am to 12 pm at Faith Church (1876 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14620). Interment Riverside Cemetery.
