Aracelys "Celin" Rodriguez

Rochester: Passed away suddenly on November 21, 2021, at the age of 73. Celin was pre-deceased by her parents, José Morales Lugo and Geralda Troche Vélez.  Celin is survived by her sons, Héctor Nieves (Micki Rosario) and Waldemar Nieves (Mercedes Sánchez); her daughter Madeline Nieves; her grandchildren Waldemar (Wallito), Marcus, Ishmael and Gizelle Nieves, Sadavia Penn, Sahjay Lewis, and Johndel Rodríguez,; her great granddaughter Autumn Rose Nieves, her brothers David and José Morales, her sisters, Virginia Morales, Migna Morales (Miguel Vega), Zenaida Morales, Aira Morales, Ana Morales (Peter Schmitt), Marilyn Morales, and Maria Elena Morales; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. 

Celin was an active member of the Corpus Christi Church (Our Lady of the Americas) and community. Born in Barrio Palomas - Yauco, Puerto Rico, she moved to Buffalo in 1972.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 am both at Corpus Christi Church (Our Lady of the Americas 860 East Main St.) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Corpus Christi Church.
