Obituary of Robert W. Wensley

Robert “Bob” Wensley passed away unexpectedly on October 3rd, 2021 at age 75.  He is predeceased by his parents Anne and William Wensley, his daughter Laura Rider, and his brothers John and Ken Wensley. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Ruth, his sons Rob (Lori) and Chris (Heather), his son-in-law John (Janna) Rider, his sisters Anne (John) Stone, Donna Lopez, Janet (Roger) Seymour and Joan (Bob) Quackenbush, and his brother, Walter (Kathy) Wensley. "Papa" was so very proud of all of his grandchildren Kyra, Ryan, Sarah, Jack, Kate, Brooks and Luke.

After a 30-year career at Xerox Corporation, Bob was able to retire and spend more time with his family.  He loved math and spent time in his daughter's classroom as well as tutoring inner city youth.  You could always find Bob on the golf course, watching one of his grandkids' sporting events, or playing games with anyone who was up for it.  Bob will best be remembered for his great sense of humor, love of sports, and infectious smile that always lit up a room.

Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road in Webster from 3 PM until 6 PM on Thursday, October 7th. A mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church (1460 Ridge Rd., Webster, NY 14580) at 10 AM on Friday morning, October 8th.
