Vasiliki "Vicki" Harisis

September 29, 2021. Vicki passed peacefully with family by her side. Predeceased by her loving husband, Xenofon “Tom”; Parents, Triantafilos and Despina Gitsis; Brothers, Nikolas, Spiro, Achilies, Anastasios and Demosthenes; Sister, Anastasia; Survived by daughters Anastasia (Michael) Devoy, Katherine (Joseph) DiPietro, and Irene (Mihail) Economou; Grandchildren, Jennifer (Justin) Petruzzelli, Stephanie Ehmann, Thomas (Sarah) DiPietro, Victoria (Nicholas) Motyl, Vasiliki (Jake) Flading, and Magdalene (Rachel Giordano) Economou; Great-grandchildren, Collin and Kaitlyn Petruzzelli, Jonathan and Madeline Ehmann, Lily and JP DiPietro, Ted and Lou Flading; Brother, Vangelis (Despina) Gitsis (Greece); Sister, Maria Dedes; Sisters-in-law Eleni Gitsis and Marianthi Bakfaris (Greece); Many beloved nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and friends in Rochester, Port Charlotte Florida, Greece, and Australia.

Vicki immigrated from Greece in 1951. She worked alongside her beloved husband Tom at Tom’s Restaurant in Irondequoit NY, which they owned and operated from 1972-1994.

Calling hours will be 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Friday October 1, at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 962 East Ave., followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00PM, Father Angelo Maggos officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

A special thank you to the aides and nurses at St. Ann’s Care Center at Cherry Ridge and at URMC Hospice Care.
