Obituary of Jacqueline P. Cordes

Jacqueline "Jackie" "Jax" Cordes

ROCHESTER-Wednesday August 18th, 2021. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Carmella Pecora, her brother Louis, and her husband Spencer Cordes. Jackie passed peacefully with her sons Lewis and Joe by her side.

 
Jackie leaves behind a legacy of family, friends, great Italian cookies and meatballs. She was the center of her family, leading, guiding and offering worry to all who needed it, or not! She leaves behind her brother Ronald Pecora, sister Susan Brady and her sons Joseph and Lewis and step son Tim Cordes and their spouses Suzanna (Bell), Emily (Miller) and Dana (Munroe), respectively, along with six grandchildren Riley, Miranda, Molly, Annabelle, Reese and Ryan. Jackie was the loving aunt to countless nieces, nephews, the most wonderful cousin to dozens, and an upstanding friend to hundreds. 

Jackie earned her degree from Nazareth College where she specialized as an Executive Secretary and ended her career with Xerox. Over the past four years Jackie beat cancer twice, held her chin up while doing so, and gave back to Gilda's Club in Rochester, NY. She will always be honored and missed dearly. We love you Jackie!

Calling Hours on Monday August 23, from 4-7PM at Falvo Funeral Home 1395 N Goodman St. Rochester, NY. On Tuesday please meet the family 12 Noon at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 601 Edgewood Ave. Rochester, NY.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
