Obituary of Barbara Anne Szulgit
PITTSFORD - Barbara Anne Szulgit, loving mother, devoted grandmother, and beloved spouse of her late husband John.
She is predeceased by her infant son, Paul, her daughter Jean Melroy, her husband John Paul Szulgit, and her parents, Henry and Kathryn (Manley) Nellis.
She is survived by her daughters Mary (John) Tebbutt, Anne (George) Medill, David Melroy (son in law) , Barbara (David) Abrams, Martha (Tony) Rutherford and by her sons John (Lori) Szulgit, David (Deborah Mulford) Szulgit and her grandchildren; John, William, and Patrick Tebbutt, Kathryn (Hector) Medill-Torres, David and Alec (Lisa) Melroy, Jessica (Corey) Slye , James (fiancée Ally Radley) and Julia Abrams, Caitlin (Cory) Ames, Christina Rutherford (fiancé Albert Ranieri) and Carly Rutherford, Benjamin and Samantha Szulgit, Elizabeth and Katarina Szulgit.
A lifelong nurse including; emergency, nursing home, and hospice care. She was a master gardener, who loved her flowers. We will miss your compassion, your zest for life, and thoughtful guidance.
Calling Hours on Wednesday from 4-7PM at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fpt Nine Mile Pt. Rd. On Thursday please meet the family 10AM at Blessed Sacrament Church (534 Oxford St, Rochester, NY 14607) for the celebration of her Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to Isaiah House, House of Mercy or Hochstein School of Music. Until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
