Obituary of Debra G. Weidman

Debra Gayle Weidman

March 18th, 1958 - May 9th, 2021

In the morning hours of Sunday, May 9th, 2021, Debra Weidman, loving wife and mother of two children, Andrea (38),  Brian (35), grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren, Sophia (5), Carter (3), and newborn baby Theodore,  passed away at the age of 63. 

Debra was born on March 18th, 1958 in Rochester, NY to James and Jacquelyn Randall. Debra lived in the town of Irondequoit were she attended and graduated from Eastridge High School. Debra was the oldest of her brothers James, Ricky, Timmy and her sister Penny. On March 12th, 1977, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Bruce Weidman. They moved to Walworth, NY where they raised their two children, Andrea and Brian. Debra worked as a typesetter for ten years at the University of Rochester. 

Debra’s true love and passion was animals. She volunteered much of her time at an organization called Four Legged Friends where she helped to look after, care for and find forever homes for cats and kittens who were fortunate enough to find themselves in her presence. Debra’s love was bountiful. She loved and adored her grandchildren. She loved her pets. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June, 5th at the Alton Gospel Tabernacle, 5849 NY-14, North Rose, NY at 1:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to the Alton Gospel Tabernacle.
