Carol Musso

Webster - Born January 30th, 1941, Died February 1st 2021.

Carol returned to the Lord on February 1st, 2021. Carol is predeceased by her beloved husband of 20 years, Salvatore Musso and her parents, Edward and Mary Carson. She is survived by her brother Eddie (Gail) H. Carson, sisters Ann (Terry) Thompson and Lyn McDonnell, her nephews Terry, Timmy (Ashley), Michael (Erin); her nieces Jennifer McDonnell, Mara (Scott) Peters along with her great niece Eloise and great nephews Trevor, Tristan, Owen, Andrew, Thomas & Brendan.

Carol graduated from Our lady of Mercy High School in 1958 and then Newton college in 1962 before embarking on a career in the Rochester City School District. After a brief hiatus to join the convent, Carol went back to her love and life calling, teaching. She spent the rest of her illustrious career in the City School district and retired as principal of School 41. Carol and Sam married in 1995 after years of friendship and companionship and enjoyed traveling and being with family and friends in their retirement years. Carol was a commanding presence in life, a voracious storyteller, a selfless friend and a fiercely loyal family member who possessed a calming and confident demeanor that had a positive and lasting influence on anyone she knew.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's Church, 1008 Maple Drive in Webster at 12:30pm on Friday, February 5th with an entombment immediately following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Scholarship fund at of Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women or Angel Flight Northeast at www.angelflightne.org.
