Obituary of Mary Kay Whiteford

WEBSTER - Born in Rochester, NY, on May 15, 1972, Mary Kay passed away after a brief illness with family by her side on January 26, 2021 at age 48.

Mary Kay is preceded in death by her infant son, Nicholas; her parents, Bud and Fran Williams; her mother-inlaw, Brenda Saidel; her sister, Susan Roberts; and her beloved niece and nephew, Marissa Livingston and Timmy Ventura. Mary Kay is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Douglas Whiteford, Jr. and her son, Jacob; fathers-in-law Douglas (Marie) Whiteford, Sr. and Mike Saidel. Mary Kay is also survived by her sisters, Donna Lee Ventura; and Pauline (Jeff) Kiser; and sisters-in-law Marta (Frank) Lee; Missy (Randy) Fone; Mary (Francis) Livingston; Shelly (John) Case, and brothers-in-law Ken Roberts, Anthony (Jeanne) Saidel, Carl Whiteford and Francis (Trinia) Bartlett. Mary Kay leaves behind beloved uncles Richard Gumina and John (Ellen) Camelio.

Mary Kay cherished every child she met but held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews. Mary Kay enjoyed a long career as a travel agent but her true loves were karaoke, dancing, the beach and crafting.

Calling hours to be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, Webster on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. Mary Kay’s celebration of life will follow on Friday, February 5, 2021, at St. Rita Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster, NY at 10 a.m. (COVID-19 restrictions will be in place at both the calling hours and the Funeral Mass). Internment to be held at a later date. Mary Kay’s family will also celebrate her life at a Memorial Mass at a later time.
