I have come to this a little late, as I just discovered Dick's passing. We were neighbors in the 70's and early 80's in the hills above Bradford. Along with the Fakers, we were building our homes from scratch, bit by bit as we could afford to, and raising our children.
I can't remember seeing Dick when he wasn't laughing, cheerful, or sharing however he could with the rest of us. There were neighborhood campfires, parties, and social calls where Dick and Judy always brought lightheartedness and energy to the group. I will never forget them and will always be grateful for their acceptance of our dog Alex when we had to leave the woods.
Jack and I send our deepest sympathy to Carrie, Ricky, and Mark.
