Obituary of Richard C Cancilla

August 15, 2020, at age 85.
Predeceased by parents, Charles & Mamie Cancilla. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ellen Cancilla; daughters, Susan (James) Witkowski, Regina (William) Sarsfield, Julie (Clifford) Darling, Josie (Mark) Spadafora, & Laura (Alan) Kenny; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; his brother, Joseph Cancilla, also many nieces and nephews.

Richard was a retired teacher of the Fairport Central Schools. He was summer employed by the Town of Irondequoit’s Department of Parks and Recreation and volunteered at St. Kateri Parish.

Calling hours are this Thursday, 4-7pm, at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Nine Mile Point Rd., Webster, NY. Please meet the family Friday, August 21, at St. Kateri Parish at Christ the King Church at 10am for his Funeral Mass. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to a charity of choice in Richard’s name.
Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
