Predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years Edith (Casilio) Bonafede. His two brothers Sam and Charles, and his sister Vivian DeSanctis. He is survived by his children Mary Ann (Michael) Kane, Joseph P. (Mary Elizabeth) Bonafede. Grandchildren Sam, Ella, Andrew, and Ben Bonafede, Will and Charlie Kane. Sister-in-law Barbara Casilio. Brother-in-law Anthony DeSanctis. Many nieces and nephews.

Joe was a dentist in the Rochester community for many years. He was an avid golfer at his cherished Brook-Lea Country Club. He loved his family and will be deeply missed.

No prior calling hours. Joseph's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 13th at 10 am in St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church. (401 Rogers Pkwy) In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
