Obituary of Frank D. Saverino

Frank D. Saverino, 91, of Webster, N.Y.

A wonderful and loving father, grandfather, relative and friend; passed away July 16, 2020. Predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen, sisters: Saralee Skelly and Marie (Donald) Vitale and brother-in-law Tom Mangione. He is survived by his beloved children Mary Kay (Joseph) Fantuzzo and Elizabeth Saverino; loving grandchildren: Emma, Jacob, Lillian and Sofia Fantuzzo; sisters-in-law: Sue (Charlie) Bussman and Pat (Jim) Hogan; nephews: Steven Vitale, Jimmy Hogan, Tommy Mangione, Chooch Mangione, Tim Bussman, and nieces: Kathy Sherman, Jean Hogan and Kaitlin Robledo, numerous cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and very dear friends. 

Frank was born September 14, 1928, in Rochester, N.Y. He enjoyed life (and a good party), cherished his family and friends. He was loving, kind, optimistic & charming.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rita’s Church, 1008 Maple Drive, Webster, N.Y. Saturday July 25 at 11:30 a.m. for family (due to COVID restrictions) and streamed online http://www.saintritawebster.org/watch-live.html. Entombment immediately following at White Haven Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may direct donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/ or Cup of Uji Kenya https://www.cupofujikenya.org/ in his memory.
