Obituary of Christa Aloi
Christa Aloi (Beierling)
Webster: June 6, 2020 age 83
Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Sister In Law, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend. Pre-deceased by her husband, Anthony; daughters Patricia and Kristina. Survived by daughter Brigitte; sons, Michael (Terese), Robert (Terri), Peter, Joseph (Linda), and Edward. Oma to her grandchildren Rachel (Kevin), Adam, Loren, Jamie (Shaun), Maddie, Alex, and Katie.
Christa was born in the city of Rostock on the Baltic Sea. Her father passed when she was seven years old and the family was forced to move to, and work, a small farm. She escaped East Germany at the age of 16, with her 17 year old sister. They were sent to a refugee camp near Stuttgart in West Germany, where eventually most of her family followed, and started new lives.
She met Anthony who was serving on an army base nearby and soon married and moved to Anthony’s hometown of Rochester New York, eventually settling in nearby Webster to raise their ever growing family. She enjoyed all kinds of music, and loved and instilled in her family a great love for nature. She was always happy to have a house full of people, and to be around others. In her later years she traveled throughout the U.S. with her dear cousin Uschi.
Many thanks to all the wonderful people who helped care for Christa in her final years.
