Joseph J. Versage

Webster - At age 93, On June 3rd with broken hearts we said our goodbyes to a devoted husband, father, papa, special uncle and cousin. Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth, sisters Josephine, Betty Versage, Lillian (Joseph) and brother-in-law Ron Rizzo. He leaves his caring wife of 69 years, Dolores, Loving daughter Linda (Walter Brodie), grandchildren Emily and Kaelen; Loving daughter Kimberly (Chris) Jones and Joe's precious granddaughter Brianna.

He proudly served in WWII, receiving the Bronze Star, He was presented the Belgian Croix de Guerre and many other honors. Passionately he volunteered through Kiwanis W. Central VFW post 9483, Legion post 942, Battle of the Bulge and Honor Flights. He will be remembered for his amazing friendliness and forever warm smile.

Burial with Military Honors will be private, Memorial Mass will be in the future. Those wishing may donate to Honor Flights P.O.Box 2358 Rochester NY 14692.
