Obituary of Katherine Hirsch-Garcia

Katherine Hirsch Garcia, 75, of Rochester, NY, peacefully returned to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 22, 2019. Katherine was born November 9, 1944 in Rochester, NY to Theodore and Katherine (Kimball) Hirsch. She is survived by her children, Victoria (Michele) Ugino, Doris (Nelson) Betances, Luis (Renee) Garcia; six grandchildren: Kesha James, Rachael Schaffer, Bianca Rodriguez, Michael D’Augustino II, Ryan Schaffer, and Luis Garcia; seven great-grandchildren and a host of adopted family, friends and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Katherine, Epifanio and Josephine Mora, and three brothers. Katherine’s family and love surpassed blood relation and her impact will be held in the hearts of many. Viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Falvo Funeral Home at 1395 N. Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14609. The funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Falvo Funeral Home. Burial will be at White Haven Cemetery in Rochester.
