Survived by his daughter Marisol Alicia Melendez and son Giovanni Melendez; his mother Alicia Melendez; his sisters and brothers Hector Melendez, Carmen Ruiz, Rafael Melendez, Maria Dedoes and Anadelle Melendez, Juan Elias Melendez; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
