Elaine Evangelista, age 80, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 1st. A graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School, active member of St. Rita and Holy Spirit churches, and a volunteer at many local charities. She enjoyed playing cards, taking day trips, cooking and entertaining.
Elaine worked in banking, supported her son’s automotive repair business, and most recently greeted families at Aaron Manor. She fostered many relationships with co-workers, family and friends. She was very loving, generous, & will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by her husband, Donald D. Evangelista, son, Joseph M. Evangelista, sisters Rosemarie Piccarreto and Betty Cinanni. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Carol (John) Pilato, grandchildren Johnny and Renee, sister Geri (John) Cannon, many nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.
Arrangements are by Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd., Webster; calling hours are Thursday, December 5th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., funeral mass on Friday, December 6th at 11:15 AM at St. Rita Church, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster, NY 14580.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in her memory to American Heart Association or a charity of one’s choice. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
