RoseAnn Rosica (Chiappone)

Irondequoit - Born on January 7, 1930 and passed into eternal life surrounded by her loving family on November 29, 2019. Predeceased by parents, Dominic and Louise Chiappone; husband, Dr. Anthony Rosica; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Rosica. Survived by children, Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB (Toronto), Sr. Carolyn Rosica, RSM, Dr. Lisa Rosica (Linda Bloch), John (Feather) Rosica, Maria Rosica, William Rosica and grandson, Nicholas Rosica. RoseAnn graduated from Nazareth College and attended Middlebury College where she studied Foreign Languages. She taught at RIT, St. Monica's and St. Ambrose Schools and 20 years at the Aquinas Institute where she Chaired the Foreign Language Department. RoseAnn was a parishioner of St. Ambrose Church for over 60 years and served as a member of the Parish Council. She was also a Basilian Lay Associate for many years. She was an inspiration, mentor, teacher and friend to many but her greatest role was that of Mother. Heartfelt thanks to the caregivers of the 9th floor, WCC 2100 and Pastoral Care Department at St. Ann's Community.

Calling hours, Tuesday 3-7 at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, Webster (Rte. 250). On Wednesday, please meet the family at St. Ambrose Church for her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In her memory, donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 1437 Blossom Rd., Rochester, NY 14610 or the Basilian Fathers of Toronto, 95 St. Joseph St., Toronto, Ontario Canada M5S3C2.
