Filippo "Phil" Vella
Webster - Peacefully with his family by his side on September 4, 2019 at the age of 86. Born October 17, 1932, he was a native of Realmonte, Sicily; lived in Webster, NY and Jupiter, FL. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmelo and Anna (DiSalvo) Vella; his sisters, Anna and Gloria. Survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Francesca (Taormina) of 57 years; their children, Ann (Frank) Stolt, Lina Vella-Bryant and Sandra Vella; grandchildren, Lucius, Isabella and Rocco Bryant; his sister, Maria; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Phil worked at Timely Clothes, retired from General Motors, as well as owned and managed his apartment complexes and liquor stores. Phil in his younger years was an avid soccer players and tried out for the Rochester Lancers. He especially liked to bowl and fish with his godson, Frank Fianacca and brother-in-law, Joe. He liked to play bocce with friends in Florida and, mostly loved to entertain and spend quality time with his family. Phil and Franca splitting there retirement years between Rochester and Florida. He will be greatly missed by all.

On Thursday please join the family at 10:30 AM in Holy Spirit Church for the Celebration of his Funeral Mass (1355 Hatch Rd., Webster). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
