Sabad DeJesus

Rochester: August 24, 2019 at age 73. 

Sabad De Jesus will be remembered as a man of service. He publicly served the state of New Jersey as a New Jersey Transit commercial bus driver. He also drove cross-country delivering goods across the United States. Sabad concluded his career in construction throughout the state of New York, delivering building materials.

Following the conclusion of his career, Sabad enjoyed helping people. Whether you were a stranger or family member, Sabad never denied anyone in need. He never asked questions, and would give the shirt off his back if necessary. 

One of the moments Sabad was most proud of was when he was able to come to the aid of an injured Rochester Policeman. His efforts culminated in the apprehension of the assailant; he was later recognized by the City of Rochester Police Department for courage and good citizenship.

He will always be remembered for the kindness, generosity, and compassion he would show to anyone that came in contact with him. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as his brothers and sisters, other family members, and the many lives he has touched throughout his time on earth.
