Agatha (Cupido) Crumb

Walworth - Agatha (Cupido) Crumb, 92, on June 19th of natural causes. Agatha graduated from Syracuse University in 1947 with a double major in journalism and political science. 

She worked as a journalist in Lowville, New York, and at the Rome Daily Sentinel, where she met husband, Owen Joseph Crumb (1925-2013). She also worked at Rochester Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1986 as Communications Coordinator. Co-Director with Owen Crumb, APT Communications (1986-1991). Agatha was an active member of Women in Communications (formerly Theta Sigma Phi), since her college days until early 2000's.

Survived by all five of her children: Michael Owen Crumb, Chattanooga, Tennessee; Elizabeth June Edwards, Jalisco, Mexico; Charles Salvatore Crumb, Potomac, Maryland; Joseph Andrew Crumb, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and John Anthony Crumb, Walworth, New York; and six grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, July 1, 2019 at St. Mary's Church, 15 St. Mary's Place, Rochester, New York 14607.
