Pittsford/Perinton - On June 29, 2019 1 week before his 91st birthday. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Margaret Battaglia and his 2 brothers. Survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Mary (Micciche) Battaglia; his daughters, Margaret (Sebastian) Curatolo, Donna Ott and fiance, David Highducheck; granddaughters, Christina and Stephanie Curatolo, Samantha Nichols, Elizabeth and Melissa Ott; his brother, James (Betty Ann) Battaglia; also many nieces, nephews; other relatives and dear friends.

Dr. Battaglia proudly served his community as an Optometrist for 40 years and he was a Medic in the Korean War.

No prior calling hours. Dr. Battaglia's Funeral Mass will be celebrated TUESDAY, July 2, 2019 at 11 AM in St. John of Rochester Church ( 8 Wickford Way, Fairport, 14450), In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in his memory. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.
