Fairport - February 6, 2019. Predeceased by parents, James and Caroline; and his wife, Joan. Survived by his wife, Ann; sons, Joseph, James (Dina), Vazzana; daughters, Lea (John) Dancy and Maria (Joseph) Militello; grandchildren, Kate, Chloe, Victoria, James Jr., Russell Vazzana, Benjamin, Paul Dancy, Alyssa and Alexis Militello; brothers, Thomas (Sylvia), James (Patricia) Vazzana; several nieces and nephews. Joseph was a member and past President of the Sons of Italy Vincent Lombardi Lodge 2270, American Legion Post #180, the Odd Fellows and he was a Korean War Veteran.

Calling hours, Sunday 2-6 at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Rte. 250). On Monday please meet the family at St. Jerome's Church, East Rochester for his Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to AutismUp, 855 Publishers Parkway, Webster, NY 14580 or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
