There will never be a day where we don't think of you bro. We miss you so much. I still have the picture of you, me, Dale, and Em when we all went to the bowling alley after seeing jurassic world. And don't worry all of our cringe youtube videos of us playing jackbox are still up and we still watch them. We're finally adults now man it's pretty wild. I just wish you could've stayed and grown up with us. I'll be able to meet up with you soon homie so you just gotta wait cause it won't be for another 60 years hopefully. I can't wait to see you again. I love you. -Linda

When I've heard about your lost from one of your best friends, I just could not believe it. Even though we may live far away from each other I still consider you as my friend. I will never forget those good times between us before. Rest in peace Connor.

Mike and Karen:
We are so deeply saddened by your loss. I have been thinking about what I could possibly say to someone suffering through the tragic loss of a child. I struggle to find words that would in some small way bring a semblance of peace and comfort to you. Regrettably, no matter how deep I search there is simply nothing....no words that could possibly heal the wounds and remove the sadness at a time of such loss. Please know that we continue to pray for you and believe that with the love and support of friends and family, along with the many fond memories you have of Connor that your heart will begin to heal and that strength, comfort and peace will find its way to you and your family.
You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, David, Linda, Connor and Tarra.

He was one of the best friends I could have ever asked for. He knew how to make me laugh by doing stupid things. Will never forget the semi-formal with the photobombing and the Just Dance games at my birthday.

Mike & Family,
I am so sorry to hear about you loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am sure nothing makes much sense now and maybe it never will but with time the pain will subside. You will never forget the loss you have experienced and that is OK, you shouldn't. You will remember the time you have had with Conner. That time is something to lock away in your memory so you can always think back and have him with you.
Mike - remember you have your family and friends to lean on if you need to. You also have the Albion family, your co-workers current and past that have you in their thoughts and prayers. I am wishing you all the strength you may need for the coming days, months or maybe even years. Please remember you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Praying for your family… Remembering fondly a sweet, kind and funny young man. I enjoyed working with Connor at Spry MS. He found amusement in catching me offguard with his wit, loved it! We would talk about his dream of becoming a paratrooper and I’d try to convince him that he needed to work on organizational skills (cleaning out his binders and backpack) for that career...after all, didn’t they wear a backpack? He chuckled as Mrs. Mancini and I organized with/for him. :) That smile...that twinkle in his eyes...my heart hurts.

Karen, There are just no words at all adequate for the tragedy that has befallen you, your family, and your beautiful boy. My heart just aches for you and I’m sure your own heart must feel broken beyond repair. I have no magic words of wisdom that can help other than to let you know that you are loved by many who will hold onto you during this terrible storm, whether in person or from afar. Connor loved you deeply, and depression and inner turmoil never changed that fact. Hold onto that when the tsunami of grief and questions and wrenching pain feels overwhelming. There is a way through this - I don’t know how, but I know that others need you still, and that all the amazing love and support you’ve given your other son that was clear to me ever since you used to chat with me at work, is something to anchor yourself in as much as you can right now. Your boys feel your unconditional love around them. A truly evil chaos of the mind can steal those that we love from us but Connor was wrapped in your love and you could not have loved him more or better. I know how much you must have wanted to find a way to take the pain for him; the hardest thing in parenting is to see your child struggle and not be able to take away the treacherous passage of adolescence. I haven’t seen you or spoken to you for several years now but a clear and abiding memory I still have is your desire to love your children through every step of their lives - you celebrated their triumphs and you shared in their hurt and always at the center was your love. It WAS deep enough and it provided a shield for Elrich. It provided a shield for Connor too, don’t doubt that he felt it many times. The worst part of being a parent is that sometimes the noise of the world gets so loud for our kids that it can drown out our voices and trick them into believing there isn’t a way to survive the din; as they grow up there also isn’t always a way for us to love them back to a sense of peace however much we want to and try to. I’m so sorry that the noise got too loud for Connor. You were still with him the whole way, I know that. I am sending you strength for the fight ahead of you. I know you will need to be stronger than you’ve ever been and I’m sure you are afraid you might not be - but I’ve seen how fierce your love for your boys made you and know you can hold fast to those closest to you right now. I’m wishing, for you, moments here and there over these next months where you can remember the times when he was at peace in himself, and the joy that brought you. That joy of Connor is still inside you and I hope there are small, quiet, private spaces in the darkness where you can just catch sight of a glimmer of it out of the corner of your eye and know that your love created those times for him.
One breath at a time. Love and strength, Serena

I am truly sorry for the loss of your dear Connor. I can only imagine how you must feel.
May the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort give you strength and peace in the days ahead. I have personally found comfort in the words at Acts 24:15 where it tells us, "There is going to be a resurrection", and that soon God will "wipe out every tear" from our eyes. (Rev. 21:4)
You have my deepest sympathy.
