Linda A. Long (McDonell)

Irondequoit - Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer with her family by her side on November 21, 2018 age 72. Predeceased by her parents, William and Claire McDonell and her brothers, William Jr., Norman and Patrick (Madeline "Kiki") McDonell. Survived by her husband, Thomas Long, her best friend and the love of her life; her son, Steven Pogoda (Suzon Youngkrans) and Suzon's children, Brooke and Colton, her daughter, Marcy Marceau; grandson, Brett Pogoda; step-children, Jody Mepham, Thomas Long II, and Ronna Long; step-grandchildren, Michael and Alissa Mepham; her brothers, Michael (Pam), James (Siglinda) McDonell; sisters-in-law, Gina and Patricia McDonell; also many nieces and nephews. Linda worked as an Esthetician for many years and truly loved her work and clients. She will be deeply missed.

No prior calling hours. Linda's Funeral Mass will be celebrated SATURDAY, December 1, 2018 at 10AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 534 Oxford St., 14607. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation (www.glioblastomafoundation.org . Inurnment Private and at a later date.
