Charles J. Polito “Chuck”
Chuck was born on June 27, 1937 second child to his sister, Carolyn, and the oldest of four boys born to Joseph and Sally Polito. He passed away in Naples, Fl. on 9/14/18 at the age of 81 years, and a 43 year resident of Bradenton Fla. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Betty, his sister, Caroline, his brother, Robert Polito, and his beloved close cousin, Marion Wilson. Survived by his children, Robert Polito, Charles (Alexandra) Polito, Charlene (Tim) Mottler, his stepchildren, Emily and Thomas Daskiewicz, his brothers Hon. William (Marie) Polito, and Joseph (Marianne) Polito; nieces and nephews, Thomas (Jackie) Polito, Lisa (Kenneth) Nicolay, William (Caryn) Polito, Joseph (Dian) Polito, and many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great- nieces and Great-nephews.
Chuck was raised in Northeast Rochester where he attended St Andrews Grammar School, and Benjamin Franklin High School. He entered the Army at the age of 17 years. Following his discharge he returned to Rochester where he married his wife, Betty.
In 1975 Chuck and Betty moved to Fla. with their 2 year old son, Bobby where he started and maintained a Handy Man Service for many years. He was later hired by several Nursing Homes in the Bradenton area as a Maintenance Supervisor from which he retired in 2003. He and Betty established a network of good friends in the area, and joined bowling leagues for several years. They were lifelong parishioners at St. Joseph Church, Bradenton, Fla. where Chuck served as an usher.
Calling hours 4:00- 8:00 pm at Tues. Sept 25th at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. (Webster, Rte 259). On Wed., Family and Friends are asked to go directly to St. Rita’s Church (1008 Maple Dr., Webster) for the celebration of his Funeral Mass at 9:15 AM.
Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery next to his beloved wife, Betty, and near to his parents, and brother, Bob.
