Salvatore J. Campanaro "Peepa"
West Brighton - July 14, 2018. Predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Victoria (Micca); brothers, Andrew (Sarah), John; sisters, Margie, Clara (Al); brothers-in-law, Joe and Louie; and sister-in-law, Rose. Survived by daughters, Vickijo (Craig), Mary Kay, Toni Ann (Sig) of MD, Dr. Suzi (Stan) of Syracuse; son, Billy (Patty) of MD; wife, Yolanda Mendola; grandchildren, Evan (Jen), Tori (Mike), Alana (Devon), Kaylyn, Colin, Andrew, Sammy, Rosetta, Ronnie, Tracie (Chris), Nick (Meredith) and Michael; sisters-in-law, Katie, Adeline and Connie; several nieces and nephews that he treated as his own.
Sam was a consummate, talented, 40 year Kodak photographer. We have collectively lost a true "Gentle Man". The world could learn a lesson from Peepa, a man of kindness, generosity, honesty, strength, compassion and love to all in his life. Heaven has gained a true light. "One-in-a-million" to his family and many, many friends!
Calling hours, Tuesday 3-8 at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Rte. 250). On Wednesday please meet the family at St. Mary's Church, 15 St. Mary's Place, Rochester, NY for his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Peepa asked that donations be paid to Assisi Institute, 1400 N. Winton Road, Rochester 14609 to be shared with Peepa's favorite charity.
