James Earl Highsmith
PENFIELD-March 6, 2018 age 69 died of complications from the flu. Predeceased by his father Willie Richards and mother, Gladys Richards; brother, Robert Ricks and sisters Lena Osaga and Barbara Ricks. Survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sharon (Wright) Highsmith; his children, James Jr. (Lutonya) and William Highsmith; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; his brother William (Inez) Ricks; sister, Joy Robinson; uncle Beamon (Sally) Highsmith and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a proud U.S. Airforce Veteran; Retiree of Rochester Telephone and proud member of Rochester Crusaders and Statesman Drum& Bugle Corp and was a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Calling hours Friday, March 16, 2018 4-8pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd., Webster (Route 250). Celebration of Life Saturday, March 17, 2018 11am at Faith Temple, 1876 Elmwood Ave., 14620. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
