Obituary of Carl Paul Schulte

Schulte, Carl Paul, age 68, of Penfield, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 5, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Kristine, to whom he was married for over 30 years; sons, Christopher Paul and Aaron Karl; daughter, Margarete Elise; sister, Lorraine Schulte (Bill) Barry; in-laws, Marshall (Nan) Shannon, James (Deb) Shannon, Michele (Tom) Brodnicki, and Margaret Personius; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Carl was born on July 15, 1949 in Staten Island, NY to the late Paul and Lucille (Jagel) Schulte. He graduated from Port Richmond High School in 1967 and Defiance College, in Ohio, in 1971. He then went on to study biomedical photography at Rochester Institute of Technology. Employed by Eastman Kodak for 37 years, Carl spent most of his career in film research before moving into inkjet printer quality control as he survived numerous company downsizings. A true do-it-yourselfer, Carl learned auto mechanics and fixing just about anything from his father and continued to hone those skills throughout his lifetime. Upon retirement, he utilized those skills to keep his home and family well taken care of.

Carl was a devoted and hard-working husband and father. He was hearty, friendly and congenial, curious about everything and everyone, and known to make friends instantly wherever he went. He had a passion for life and a loving enthusiasm that was contagious. Carl will be deeply missed by all.

Family and friends may call Sat., Jan. 27, 2018 from 11-1 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 1 PM. Both will be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Rt. 250) Webster, NY  14580.
