Obituary of Gerda Moszkowicz

Gerda Moszkowicz, 1924 – 2018

Passed away peacefully January 4th at the age of 93, surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Michael Moszkowicz and Survived by her 4 children, Miriam Lebowitz, Leon Moszkowicz (Dee), Roman Moszkowicz (Donna) and Jody Moszkowicz; along with 6 grandchildren: Devorah (Rob), Rebecca (Steve), Aaron, Shelby, Jasmine, Jacob and 2 great grandchildren (Zachary,  Tyler). Special dear friend Betty Schaefer and her “3rd son” Evan.

Gerda was an incredible mother, grandmother, great grandmother; and above all a very special person to everyone she touched.   Gerda came to the USA in 1961 with her husband and 4 children; and made a great life for her family the next 5 decades.

Calling hours will be 5PM – 8 PM on Friday January 5th at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman Street. Memorial Service will be held at Falvo Funeral Home the following day at 9:30 AM, January 6, 2018, followed by Burial Service at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to LollyPop Farm / Humane Society of Greater Rochester, as Gerda held a special place in her heart for all animals.
