Obituary of Celia M. Amalfi

Amalfi Celia M. (Grenga)Fairport. "Ceil", 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday March 11, 2017. She was born in Syracuse,NY on May 5, 1931 and is predeceased by her husband James Amalfi and parents Angeline and Guy Grenga.Ceil is survived by four daughters- Patricia Deshaies (Tom) of Wake Forest,NC. Cynthia Amalfi (John) of Rochester,NY.Terry Wentworth (Jack) of Webster,NY.Michele Gilman (Chris) of Webster,NY. sisters June Katz (Herb) and Kathy White (Ken), brother Thomas (Grenga (Kathy), grandchildren Gianni Scott and Alex Gilman, nephew Ahron Foster, niece Toni Marie Williams. Ceil graduated from the Genesee Hospital School of Nursing with a degree as a Registered Nurse and continued work at the Genesee Hospital for many years before retiring from Hill Haven Nursing Home as a supervisor. She enjoyed nursing and dedicated her life to helping others. Memorial service Thursday 3 PM. followed by calling hours 4 - 7 PM.at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. Webster (Rte.250).
