Obituary of Harry J. Gersey Jr.

With incredible strength and his family by his side, Harry J. Gersey Jr. passed away peacefully on February 17th, 2017 at the age of 69. Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon (Muscolo); children, Chelsea Felton (Chad), Jillian VanValkenburgh (Kevin), Jordan; mother, Vernadine; brothers Daniel (Cathleen), Terry (Debbie), Timothy (Lynda), Charlie (Patricia); sister-in-law, Donna Branca; family members and dear friends Jean Thomas (Rick), Roy Scalera, Daryl & Sue Barco. Predeceased by his dad, Big Harry; family members, Bob Branca & Janice Scalera. Harry shared a very a special bond with his nieces, nephews, and cousins. His memory lives on in his grandchildren, the pride and joy of his life, Maddox, Harper, Chase, & Charlotte, and his dog Luca, always by his side. Among his many accomplishments, Harry was a Vietnam AF Veteran, RIT alum, entrepreneur, athlete, coach, and took on every endeavor with unmatched passion and strength. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his doctors, surgeons, and staff from RGH, Wilmot Cancer Center, and Lifetime Care that contributed to his care over the last 18 months. And a very special thank you to Natasha, Gail, and Dr. Olden for their care and support through his battle with cancer.
