Obituary of Cora Cala

Cala, Cora Webster: Friday, January 13th, 2017 peacefully at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband, Alphonse Cala; father and mother Joseph & Bettina Collea (stepfather Phillip DiBella); brothers Anthony (Rita), James (Caroline), Carl (Norrine); sister Rose (Tom); and companion Leo Lipka. Cora is survived by her children Cheryl (Cathy) and Alan (Sylvia), and loving grandson Joe; many nieces and nephews, and dear friends Dan & Betty Berg and Donna Wyckoff. She will be remembered for her caring, love, feistiness and most of all her infectious humor and wit. She loved spending her time at the casino and mowing her lawn (like only she could) Cheryl & Joe would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Monroe Community Hospital and Rehab Facility, and to all the many friends she made while there. Calling hours with a prayer service will be held Monday 11:30 AM- 2:30 PM at Falvo Funeral Home; 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. (Rte 250). Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
