Obituary of Margot E Stumberger
Stumberger, Margot E.
Rochester, NY USA:
October 10, 2016 at 90.
Predeceased by Guenter, her husband of 56 years. Survived by her daughters, Ursula (Silone Phommanirat) and Irene and her grandsons Benjamin, Thomas and Eric.
Born in 1926 in Berlin, Germany, Margot immigrated to the USA in 1953. She settled in Rochester in 1958. Margot volunteered in the community for the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, George Eastman House and Rundel Library. She was a devoted wife and mother and a loyal friend. A good listener, conversationalist and correspondent, Margot brightened our days and made the world a better place. We will miss her immeasurably. The family thanks ElderONE staff for their care and support for the past three years. Donations in memory of Margot may be made to The Eastman School of Music Office of Advancement, 26 Gibbs St., Rochester, NY 14604 or to Irondequoit Library, 1290 Titus Ave., Rochester, NY 14617.
