Obituary of Anthony P. Adams

Adams, Anthony P. Irondequoit: Age 100, passed away on September 3, 2016. He is predeceased by his son, Gerard Adams. He is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa Adams (nee Valle) of Rochester; a daughter, Patricia Justicia-Linde (Jose) of Orchard Park, NY; his sons, William Adams (Valerie Palermo) of Rochester and Stephen Adams, Ph.D. (Stacy) of Yardley, PA; a sister, Lena Adams of Rochester; four grandchildren, Faye Justicia-Linde, M.D. of Amherst NY, Christopher Adams of Brooklyn NY, Lauren Adams of Rochester, Veronica Barkley of Durham, NC; and many nieces and nephews. Anthony was the last survivor of the East High School Class of 1934. He retired from Kodak in 1972 after 27 years. He loved playing golf in his youth, playing cards with his family, as well as watching basketball and his beloved NY Yankees. Family and friends may call TUESDAY, September 6th from 4 to 8 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14609. Anthony's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel at St. Ann's Community, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621 at 11:00 AM on WEDNESDAY, September 7th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wells College, Aurora, NY, University of Rochester, or Aquinas Institute of Rochester. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
